Vanessa Sweekhorst ist internationale Luftartistin und Stuntperformerin aus München – bekannt für ihre ausdrucksstarken Showacts, die Kraft, Eleganz und Schwerelosigkeit auf beeindruckende Weise vereinen.
Die gebürtige Münchnerin begann bereits im Alter von drei Jahren mit klassischem Ballett und entdeckte später ihre Liebe zur Artistik. Ihre künstlerische Laufbahn startete sie mit 14 Jahren, spezialisiert auf Shows für Galas, Firmenveranstaltungen, Messen und Events.
Noch während Vanessa vier Jahre in den Niederlanden verbrachte, um dort an der renommierten Artistenschule Fontys – Academy of Circus and Performance Art in Tilburg ihr Studium zum „Bachelor of Circus and Performance Art“erfolgreich abzuschließen, stand sie neun Monate lang für die Show „EQUILA“ by Apassionata/Cavalluna im Showpalast München unter Vertrag.
Nach ihrem Abschluss folgten Engagements auf dem europaweit größten Kreuzfahrtschiff MS Iona, im Roncalli Weihnachtscircus in Berlin, bei Schubecks Teatro in München sowie zahlreiche Showproduktionen und Live-Events im In- und Ausland.
Ihr Duo-Luftring „Duo ELVA“ wurde mit großem Erfolg vor Millionenpublikum bei der deutschen TV-Show „Das Supertalent“ erstmals präsentiert.
Vanessa arbeitete mit Weltstars wie David Guetta, Will Smith und Helene Fischer, tourte als Solistin für Luftakrobatik auf David Garretts Millennium Symphony Arena Tour und faszinierte ein Stadionpublikum von über 40.000 Menschen mit einem spektakulären Flug über die Prinzen.
Für ihre außergewöhnlichen Leistungen wurde sie mehrfach ausgezeichnet – unter anderem mit dem Schweizer Falkenpreis als „Luftartistin des Jahres 2019“ sowie als mehrfache Preisträgerin des internationalen Circus Festivals IDOL im Moskauer Staatszirkus.
Mit ihren akrobatischen Showacts in der Luft und am Boden zeigt Vanessa Körperbeherrschung und Beweglichkeit auf höchstem Niveau. Zu ihrem Repertoire solo und im Duo gehören unter anderem dynamische Acts am Vertikaltuch, Strapaten und Luftring, ebenso wie Kontorsion, Shows an einem fliegenden Kronleuchter oder in einer großen fliegenden Glaskugel.
Neben ihrer Arbeit auf der Bühne ist Vanessa auch hinter den Kulissen aktiv: als passionierte Riggerin, Industrieklettererin und Spezialistin für Personenflugsysteme für Filmproduktionen, Shows und Großevents – unter anderem für den Cirque du Soleil, Helene Fischer, Ayliva und internationale Produktionen weltweit.

Vanessa Sweekhorst is an international aerial artist and stunt performer from Munich – known for her expressive performances that combine strength, elegance, and weightlessness in a truly captivating way.
Born in Munich, Vanessa began classical ballet at the age of three and later discovered her passion for circus arts. She began her artistic career at the age of 14, specializing in shows for galas, corporate events, trade fairs, and stage productions.
While spending four years in the Netherlands to complete her studies at the renowned Fontys – Academy of Circus and Performance Art in Tilburg, where she earned her Bachelor of Circus and Performance Art, she was already under contract for nine months with the production “EQUILA” by Apassionata/Cavalluna at Showpalast Munich.
Following her graduation, she performed aboard Europe’s largest cruise ship, the MS Iona, at the Roncalli Christmas Circus in Berlin, at Schubeck’s Teatro in Munich, and in numerous live events and show productions throughout Europe and beyond.
Her aerial duo act “Duo ELVA” was introduced with great success to a nationwide audience on the German television show “Das Supertalent”.
Vanessa has shared the stage with international stars such as David Guetta, Will Smith, and Helene Fischer. She toured as a solo aerialist on David Garrett’s Millennium Symphony Arena Tour and thrilled over 40,000 spectators in a stadium with a spectacular aerial flight above Die Prinzen.
Her outstanding performances have earned her multiple awards – including the Swiss Falkenpreis as “Aerial Artist of the Year 2019” and several prizes at the prestigious Circus Festival IDOL at the Moscow State Circus.
With her acrobatic performances in the air and on the ground, Vanessa showcases exceptional body control and flexibility at the highest level. Her solo and duo repertoire includes dynamic acts on aerial silks, straps, and aerial hoop, as well as contortion, shows on a flying chandelier, and performances inside a large floating glass sphere.
In addition to performing, Vanessa works behind the scenes as a passionate rigger, industrial climber, and flying effects specialist for film productions, live shows, and large-scale events – including projects with Cirque du Soleil, Helene Fischer, Ayliva, and other international productions around the globe.
